Value Added Courses
The rapidly changing world has placed more demands and competition on students at all levels. Additional value-added courses/certificate courses provide students with knowledge and skills that are applicable to the workplace and the type of job they hope to pursue. This extra training helps students compete for better jobs, and enhances their chances of finding employment. These courses are available from many different departments within the humanities, commerce, and science fields. The program is short, focussed, and runs concurrently with the undergraduate and graduate programs. It provides a solid theoretical foundation and practical applications over 30 to 40 hrs.
