U G Admission Procedures
COURSE/PROGRAMME DURATION:
3 Years degree program consisting of 6 semesters.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERION:
- BA, BCOM BSW PROGRAMME:
Candidates should have passed Pre-University or 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board of Karnataka state or other state with minimum of 40%.
- BCA PROGRAMME:
Any student who has passed Pre-University Examination in Science or Commerce or Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized board of Karnataka or other state with minimum of 40%.
DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
Online Admission Application form duly filled in with necessary fees to be filled online as per university guidelines.
- Original Transfer certificate with 5 photocopies.
- Original Marks card with 5 photocopies.
- SSLC/SSC Marks card 5 photocopies.
- Original Caste/Income Certificates with 5 photocopies.
- 5 passport size photo.
- Aadhar card 5 photo copies.
- Bank passbook 5 photocopies.
- Migration & Eligibility Certificates original and 5 photocopies (For only students from other states/University).
SCHEME OF EVALUATION
There shall be a continuous evaluation of students’ performance through internal assessment, active participation in co-curricular and Extra- curricular activities and University Examination.
- Internal assessment: There shall be 20/10 marks for internal assessment in each subject consisting of attendance (3 marks), assignment (3 marks), test-1(4 marks) and test-2 (10 marks).
- Extra-curricular and Co-curricular activities: 50 marks.
- Semester examination: There shall be a University Examination of 80 marks.

a. English-Political Science-History
b. Hindi-Political Science-History
c. Kannada-Sociology-History

e. Kannada-Folk Literature-Sociology
f. English-Computer Applications-Economics
4. Indian Constitution, Human Rights & Environmental Studies, Personality Development and Communication Skills, Computer Applications are the compulsory subjects to be studied in BA I, II, III, & IV semesters respectively.
5. Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activity is a compulsory subject for BA I sem.
6. AECC is also a subject to be taught at BA I & II Sem.
7. In the 3rd year students have to study 2 papers of optional subjects and shall offer either MIL English or MIL Kannada and not both.
